Thorens introduced a $1500 turntable/arm combo at RMAF. The TD 209 features the new TP90 tonearm. The "mat" is an ungrooved vinyl LP. The same unit is available at the TD 206 for 'squares' who don't like the TD 206's irregularly shaped plinth.
