I Was Welcome At Music Merchant on Record Store Day!

Peace has broken out this "Black Friday" Record Store Day between me and the owners of Music Merchant, Westwood, NJ.

Some of you may recall that I was tossed out of this excellent store on RSD a few years ago. It was an entirely ridiculous event and it's bothered me ever since. However a friend of mine who shops there told me the owners wanted to clear the air so I visited today, picked up a few things and we all shook hands.

This makes me very happy because this is a terrific store located in the heart of Westwood, NJ and in today's retail environment that is a near miracle.

The store is well-stocked with new LPs and CDs and has a very good selection of used LPs with a healthy turnover, which means you have to visit often. Now that we're back on good terms I will!

So does this mean you are now allowed to visually inspect the vinyl before buying? What about the rest of us, are now allowed as well?

Hi Michael. We are a VINYL ONLY shop in South Jersey(Collingswood), and you are always welcome on a RSD or any day! Have enjoyed this site for some time and recommend it to all our customers. We have some lively discussions in store and the "pressed from digital" is a biggie-thanks for attempting to get the deetz on many releases as far as that's concerned, it is an invaluable resource!

You are too much of a gentleman, Michael Fremer. The evil brother deserves to be beaten up with chains, and burned alive on a pile of KISS records. As for me, I will NEVER SET FOOT ON THAT WRETCHED HIVE OF SCUM AND VILLAINY!! May Amazon, Discogs, and eBay bury that coven of AIDS forever.
