Joachim Gerhard is best known as a loudspeaker designer. He founded Audio Physic and later went on to design speakers first called Sonics By Joachim Gerhard, which later became Spiral Groove loudspeakers and are currently called Canalis. Along with the name changes, came driver and cabinetry improvements.

But Mr. Gerhard wanted to design electronics so he taught himself the design theory and now he's built a line of electronics that will probably be coming to America soon.
