AXPONA 2014

At Munich's High End Show 2013 Franc Kuzma showed prototypes of a new cartridge line that has now been introduced at AXPONA. Mounted on a 4 Point tone arm on the Kuzma Stabi XL turntable, the new mid-line CAR-40 ($2900) sounded great playing a "TRON" test pressing.

The CAR-40 features coils of 4N silver, a Boron cantilever fitted with a Micro-ridge stylus and outputs .3mV. Weight is a relatively heavy 17 grams due to the machined body Kuzma produces for the motors sourced in Japan. The top of the line CAR-50 features a sapphire cantilever.
