Seen at CES 2025: Victrola Automatic, Wave, Stream Onyx, Harmony, and Journey Glow Turntables

Today, we continue onward with our survey of the analog-centric gear being shown at CES 2025, which officially got underway for press types like us on January 5, and continues onward through January 10, 2025, mainly at the LVCC in Las Vegas — and at the Venetian as well, of course!

As we noted at the outset of our report on Lenco’s trio of new turntables and cool light-effect record stabilizer that posted here yesterday, January 6, 2025, analog offerings at CES aren’t as prolific or diverse as they used to be at the big show. That said, we can always count on Victrola to have a big showing at CES — and this year, they’ve done it yet again with a cavalcade of new turntable options at various price points.

First, some perspective. Last year at CES, Victrola introduced their Stream Sapphire turntable (which we covered here), and, almost a year prior to that, they introduced their Sonos-friendly Victrola Stream Onyx VPT-2000-BLK-ATE table (which we covered here). And now, they’ve shown up at CES 2025 with a wider table offering that’s part of their respective company displays at Venetian Suites 29-218, 29-220, and 29-222. Furthermore, Victrola’s ace PR team tells me all the following tables are projected to be available at retail in the Spring of 2025, so let’s see what they’ve got coming.

First up is the Victrola Automatic (VPT-800), which is available in four color options (three of them being new) — black (shown above), blue, green, and white. The Automatic comes fitted with an Audio-Technica ATN3600L moving magnet (MM) cartridge. This Bluetooth-capable table has playback speeds of 33⅓ and 45rpm, and it comes with a dust cover, platter, felt slipmat, 45rpm adapter, power adapter, RCA cable, and instruction manual. The SRP for the Automatic turntable is $199.99.

Next is the Victrola Wave (VPT-1520), a table that boasts an aluminum tonearm with a custom-designed removable headshell and adjustable counterweight with pre-fixed alignment guides and an Audio-Technica AT-VM95E MM cartridge. It also features Bluetooth 5.4, aptX Adaptive and aptX HD, Auracast broadcast audio, wired connectivity, and four color options. (The blue finish is shown above.) The SRP for the Wave table is $399.99.

Third is an update of the aforementioned Victrola Stream Onyx (VPT-2000), which sports four color options (the white version of which is seen above) and coincides with the company’s major software update that has introduced Bluetooth output, VINYLSTREAM Wi-Fi (UPnP streaming), and Roon Ready integration across their product lineup. This table boasts an MDF plinth, aluminum tonearm, and Audio Technica AT-VM95E or Ortofon OM5E MM cart options. The SRP for the Stream Onyx is $599.99.

Fourth up, and clearly going the retro-cool route, is the Victrola Harmony (VTS-1300) mid-century modern shelf system that includes a full-size turntable, matching stereo speakers, Bluetooth streaming, and an Audio-Technica ATN3600L MM cart. Finishes are black, natural (shown above), and walnut. The SRP for the Harmony is $199.99.

Finally, the Victrola Journey Glow (VSC-700SB-GLW) is a suitcase turntable with an integrated light bar and 18 preset illumination modes. The Journey Glow offers playback speeds of 33⅓, 45, and 78rpm, and comes with RCA and 3.5mm headphone outputs, Bluetooth streaming, and 45rpm and power adapters. The Journey Glow’s SRP is a quite affordable $79.99.
