The Sperling L-1 Turntable we profiled in our Munich 2013 coverage is now being imported to America but AudioArts. The Sperling brothers were on hand to run us through the design, which features a massive tape leader driven high density aluminum platter and a DC motor fitted with a Zeiss manufactured pulley. The arm mounting system makes possible using any length arm and easy swapping. Shown here with a Durand Talea tonearm ($9500). Price is $35,950 for the 'table.
