Triangle Art Introduces Symphony Turntable
Tom Vu's Triangle Art turntables have typically been large, massive, expensive designs. His Signature turntable sells for $12,500, while the Reference SE costs $20,000. Compared to many other large, high mass 'tables, these highly chromed designs are very reasonably priced.
At T.H.E. Show Newport 2013 Vu introduced the Symphony turntable, built around a more traditional square plinth, but no less reflective in appearance. The Symphony sells for $5990 and is shown with a Rega arm.
Triangle Art also introduced the Osiris tonearm in 12" ($5800) and 9" ($4995) versions.
The Makassar Ebony tubed arm was clearly inspired by Frank Schröder's designs and features a magnetically suspended/monofilament bearing system with a substantial housing of brass. Build quality appears excellent, especially given the reasonable prices of the two versions.
