McIntosh Shows New Prototype Turntable

McIntosh introduced a new prototype turntable built to the company's specs by Clearaudio. The new 'table has a lower profile because it does not have the large (and frankly unnecessary but cool looking) front panel meter. Price has yet to be determined but it will be less costly than the original McIntosh turntable

Gotta say I love the glowing platter!  Somehow the base together with it looks kind of clunky, though.

If I want can I change the colour of the lights? Maybe to put something to auto change it?
