The day before he received the L.A. & Orange County Audio Society's Founder's Award in early December of 2018, AnalogPlanet Editor Michael Fremer sat down for a lengthy interview with film maker Ben Williams (who remained off-camera). Williams calls it a "guest monologue".
At the L.A. and Orange County Audiophile Society's annual GALA last Sunday, AnalogPlanet editor Michael Fremer was given the society's prestigious Founder's Award. It was also the Society's 25th anniversary so many of the past Founders award winners were on hand including Tim DeParavicini, EveAnna Manley and Richard Vandersteen, among others along with more than 200 of the society's 2600 members.
Saturday August 13th was "Vinyl Day". Barnes & Noble celebrated with events and guest speakers at many of their stores nationwide. Analogplanet editor Michael Fremer was invited to speak at the Paramus, New Jersey store and a looped segment of his DVD "It's a Vinyl World After All" played in all of the stores along with other video material.

Recently, I presented the idea to AnalogPlanet editor Michael Fremer that I could do my very own online radio show to post on AnalogPlanet. I could transfer most of the songs from vinyl, stitch them together, and speak in between DJ sets. MF said “try it and let’s see how it turns out.”
