Frank Kimbrough Interprets Andew Hill's "Laverne"

With permission, here's a transcription of Frank Kimbrough and group covering Andrew Hill's "Laverne" from Newvelle Records' first vinyl release, part of its subscription series of original jazz recordings available only on vinyl.

The system consists of Lyra Atlas, Kuzma 14" 4 Point tone arm, Kuzma Stabi turntable, Audio Tekne TEA-8695 all-tube phono preamp, Audio Research all-tube Ref 6 preamp, Lynk HiLo A/D, D/A converter.

Belt is not visible...around sub-platter. That's sandwich platter!

Frank's one of my favorite pianists, but he's outdone himself here.

Frank is awesome, don't even try to deny this fact. But this work is not his best one. We've discussed this question with my close friend (he has also help me write my essay for college) and he also has the same opinion as I am. This guy has a great talent, but Laverne is pretty average. Tell me if I wrong.
