Well, winning this set would certainly free up some coin for other vinyl purchases. I would love to make the comparison between the new LPs vs. the Blue Box release.

What are we to make of the fact that I've already received a refund of almost $50 from AcousticSounds, where I ordered the box set last week? I just checked, and ElusiveDisc and MusicDirect have dropped their asking price to $349, too -- but SoundStageDirect still has the box set listed at $399.
Cutting the price by 13% on a pre-order is rare, is it not?
What's even more interesting is that the listed MSRP originally was $499. So now we're looking at a 20% discount.
Thoughts? Are they worried they overpriced this set?

And I guess EMI is releasing a special 45 rpm mono vinyl edition of Love Me Do for the 50th anniversary of the song's release. With a label that looks like the original Parlophone pressing and everything. Looking forward to winning the albums.
