Well I have the Beatle Mono Box, which sounds great, especially the earlier albums. Now this vinyl stereo set would really be cool. Chances are that the masters were cut from digital files?? Hmmmm.
I've enjoyed the cd's I purchased in September of '09. The vinyl should sound even better.

In the mid 80s Parlaphone/Capital release a boxed set in the US of the original british releases. But since then there has not been any new vinyl releases or mixes. When the CD remasters came out a couple of years ago I was oping to see new mastered vinyl as well, and final here it is.

I would LOVE to win this faaaabulous boxed set.. I've been a rabid, foaming Beatles fan since I saw them live on the Ed Sullivan Show, way back in the early 1960s.. I own all, or at last most all their albums.. some of them quite rare, such as a first priessing Capitol Records MONO Magical Mystery Tour (minty)
- and the origfinal MFSL's Sgt. Pepper's UHQR, which is sonically unbelievable..
along with most of the first release Capitol Beatles CDs from 1982-ish, (and yes, I kept all the long boxes).. the German Horzu pressing of MMT, all three Capitol promo CD singles from 1997 (only 3000 of each exist, and they were never sold retail)..
I also used to own the 1982 MFSL Beatles Black Box collection, but in a fit of insanity, and poverty, I was forced to sell it,
and have been kicking myself ever since, because now they go for over a grand, even over three grand, if still sealed in the original shipping carton.. at least I still have the 1983 MFSL Stones Black Box collection..
This new boxed set is beyond belief, and I'd love to add it to my collection.. it would truly be treasured, if you are so kind as to choose me as the winner.. I'll sing your praises to high heaven..
