Bonnie Prince Billy (A/K/A) Will Oldham and his occasional collaborator Matt Sweeney have teamed up again (first time in six years) for a new 10" single "Must Be Blind" b/w "Life in Muscle" with an eye-popping cover.

Joining Billy's "parched" vocals and Sweeney's "burbling rumble" guitar on this Nashville recorded production  are drummer Pete Townsend (not the one you're thinking of), engineer/bassist David Ferguson, and Ronnie McCoury on mandolin.

The Drag City publicist says it all adds up to a "moist, heaving, whole."  The production, she says, sounds "sensual." 

If it's anything like the cover, who can argue with her and why would one want to?
