The photo is of Pear Audio Analogue's new $5995 tubed Reference Preamplifier with built in MM phono section available in a variety of wood fascias but a separate tubed MM phono pre-amp is also available for $4500.

The Slovenia manufactured preamps feature outboard power supplies. MM gain is 41dB with standard 47kOhm loading. Clearly the unit brought to RMAF is an early production unit. It's kind of homely but it definitely sounded fine amplifying Pear Analogue's MM cartridge.
